At Lurie Children’s, we are committed to supporting veterans through the transition from military life to civilian life. We also support the employment of those who served in the force years ago and are looking to make a career change to health care. The service and sacrifice our veterans made for our country is given back to them twofold at Lurie Children’s. We believe it is our duty and responsibility to support a diverse culture to better care for our unique patient population.
The closeness and comraderie our veterans experienced while on active duty can also be found within our walls at Lurie Children’s. Together, we can create a bond that affects our people inside the hospital and out.
